Hello Supporters!

In the face of ongoing gun violence that is plaguing our streets and youth each and every day, we remain grateful and encouraged to be able to serve some incredible teens in our program. Despite continued challenges with the pandemic and Chicago's gun violence epidemic, we were able to provide a safe and peaceful summer for One For One teens, creating opportunities and employment in an effort to break the cycle of violence and help our youth find a positive path forward.

The summer program allowed our eager-to-work, eager-to-learn young adults to get placed in paid internships, have a daily support network of peers and professionals, all in safe and nurturing environments. It was a summer full of positivity, team-building, learning....and HOPE. Take a look at some of the highlights from our 2021 Keeping Grounded Summer Internship Program.

Our Kids And Our City Deserve Better.

Help us grow our Keeping Grounded internship program and give more deserving young adults the tools they need to succeed! We primarily rely on the funds of private and individual donors to fund our employment and programming. Your dollars TRULY make a difference in the lives of Chicago youth living in communities with high rates of violent crime and joblessness.
