Your support is a seed of investment that enables young adults ages 16-24 on the West Side of Chicago to receive workforce training, paid internships, social emotional support and career focused workshops that lead to opportunities for career growth and advancement. Every touchpoint is a chance to intervene, advocate, and change the course of someone’s life.
FUND-A-NEED $5000 PAID SUMMER JOB-Funds one young person’s paid summer job for 10 weeks at 30 hours/week—aligned with Chicago minimum wage plus coaching and support that make consistent work possible.
FUND-A-NEED $2500 MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT FUND- Help youth access trauma-informed care including therapy, referrals, and consistent follow-through when life happens.
FUND-A-NEED $1000 YEAR-ROUND TRANSPORTATION-Allows young people to get to and from work safely and reliably. Your support covers CTA passes, Uber rides, and supervised transportation that ensures they have a secure way to travel.
FUND-A-NEED $500-SKILLS & CAREER EXPOSURE Gives youth access to skill-building and career exploration workshops, industry visits, practical training—strengthening confidence, readiness, and exposure to a career that they choose!
FUND-A-NEED $250 “FIRST 2” ON THE JOB STABILITY Supports a young person’s first 2 weeks on the job until they receive their first paycheck.
FUND-A-NEED $100 BARRIER REMOVAL FUND Removes small, practical barriers like state ID fees, a phone bill, WiFi, work shoes, a haircut—so that a young person canshow up ready and confident.
